Every check on check-host.su runs from 25 locations in 23 countries at the same time: Germany, the Netherlands, France, the United Kingdom, Poland, Finland, Sweden, Italy, Spain, Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, Kazakhstan, the United States, Canada, Brazil, India, Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates.

How it works

The checks run on probes of the Globalping network — servers and small devices hosted by volunteers and companies in hundreds of networks. For every check we pick one probe per location, run the test on all of them at once and show the results as they arrive. Next to each country you see the city where the probe actually is.

What you can check

  • Ping — packet loss and round-trip time to a host.
  • HTTP — whether a website answers, its status code and response time.
  • TCP port — whether a port is open and accepts connections.
  • DNS — A and AAAA records as resolvers in different countries see them.
  • Traceroute — the route packets take to the host.
  • MTR — traceroute and ping combined, with loss on every hop.

Results of the same check are kept for a minute, so if several people check one address at once, they get the same fresh result without waiting.
